Audeon specializes in developing professional DSP and sound synthesis solutions. Our flagship product is UFO : Unique Filters and Oscillators, a software synthesizer based on our proprietary Transmodal Synthesis. We are committed to delivering unique high quality products and technologies to musicians and producers. We also provide sound synthesis, audio processing and voice processing technologies to third parties through licensing. Our services also include embedded software development for audio applications.
Audeon is located in Rennes, France.
The founder
 Audeon's CEO is Patrick Bastien. Before starting Audeon, Patrick worked for 7 years in the music industry as a DSP engineer at Dream/Atmel and as a research engineer at TC Electronic (TC Helicon Vocal Technologies). His contribution can be found in various products ranging from keyboards to effect processors and software plugins. In early 2004, he founded AUDEON s.a.r.l. to turn his own research work on sound synthesis into products.
Patrick has an Engineering degree in electronics and computer science. He also graduated with Master in "Acoustics, Signal Processing and Computer Science Applied to Music" from IRCAM. He was an invited speaker at the AES International Conference in 2003, and the author of a white paper on singing voice processing.
He is also a long time keyboardist and composer himself.
